Gutter Cleaning in Southwest Washington

Between fir needles, leaves, and constant rain, PNW gutters clog fast. We clear them out and flush your downspouts so water goes where it should — away from your home.

Gutter Cleaning

Clogged gutters cause expensive problems fast

Our region drops a heavy, year-round load of fir and cedar needles, leaves, and moss into gutters — far more than a typical suburban home elsewhere. Once they clog, rainwater overflows the edges instead of draining, and that’s when the damage starts.

Overflowing gutters rot fascia boards, stain and soak siding, pool around your foundation, and can push water into crawl spaces and basements. Standing debris also becomes a nest for pests and a bed for moss and weeds growing right in the trough.

We remove all the debris by hand, bag and haul it away, flush your downspouts to confirm they run clear, and check for sagging or leaks while we’re up there.

Why It Matters

Why clean gutters matter here

Protect Your Foundation

Proper drainage keeps water away from your foundation, crawl space, and basement.

Stop Water Damage

Clear gutters prevent overflow that rots fascia and soaks into your siding.

Avoid Pest Nesting

Debris-filled gutters attract insects, rodents, and birds looking to nest.

Extend Gutter Life

Removing heavy, wet debris and standing water helps gutters last longer.

Our Process

How we get it done

01

Inspect

We check your gutters and roofline to spot problem areas and any existing damage.

02

Clear by Hand

All leaves, needles, and debris are removed by hand — not just blown around.

03

Flush Downspouts

We run water through every downspout to confirm they drain freely and clear any clogs.

04

Clean Up

Debris is bagged and hauled away, and we leave your property tidier than we found it.

Before After

FAQ

Gutter Cleaning questions, answered

How often should gutters be cleaned in the Pacific Northwest?
Because of our heavy tree cover and rain, most homes here need gutter cleaning at least twice a year — typically late spring and again in late fall after the needles and leaves drop.
Do you flush the downspouts too?
Yes. Clearing the troughs isn’t enough if a downspout is blocked. We flush every downspout with water to confirm it drains freely and clear any clogs we find.
What are the black stripes on the outside of my gutters?
Those ‘tiger stripes’ are oxidation and grime that a standard cleaning won’t remove. We offer exterior gutter brightening as an add-on to restore that finish.
Do you haul away the debris?
Always. We bag up the leaves, needles, and gunk and take it with us so you’re not left with a pile in the yard.
Do I need gutter guards?
Guards can reduce buildup but rarely eliminate it in our region — fine needles still get through. We’re happy to give you an honest assessment for your home.
